    Thanks for stopping by the FFP blog! Here you'll find some of my favorites from recent sessions, LOTS of pretty babies, GORGEOUS families, and a whole lot of vintage, modern goodness.

    My philosophy on photography is keeping things simple, really focusing on your baby, your family, your LOVE. Those are the things that matter when you look back on your images in the years ahead. I LOVE getting to know a new family and capturing the specialness that makes them unique.

    FFP books baby and family sessions 6-8 weeks in advance. Newborn sessions are booked 2-3 months before your estimated due date and photographed within the first two weeks of life.

Hudson | Spring Hill Newborn Photography

Hudson is a BIG boy. Born at 9lbs 11oz, he was well over 10lbs at his newborn session. And man, is there just something about big, ol’ chunky babies that make me melt! He was awake after his feeding, and we got some BEAUTIFUL shots of his big blue eyes. Hudson is such a peaceful, sweet boy. I quite literally fell completely in LOVE with him.

We all love Pinterest, right?:)Well, Hudson’s mom was no different and had sent me some ideas that she’d pinned that she really hoped we’d get to try. If I do say so myself, I think we did even better. Just check out the football picture.

Little Avie | Murfreesboro Newborn Photography

I met Josh last year at a local photographer’s meet-up, and then he second shot a wedding for me not too much after that. During our initial talks about the upcoming wedding, I learned that Josh and his wife, Alix, were expecting their first baby. It was so cute how Josh was nervously excited for this new journey in his life.

It is just as endearing to see Josh with his new baby girl – and to see how much he takes care of his first love, Alix. I just love their new little family and am so honored to have the opportunity to photograph Baby Avery’s (Avie for short) first days. She is BEAUTIFUL. And because Josh himself is an AMAZING photographer (check out his website HERE), this is going to be a supersized blog post!









Josh and Alix weren’t super convince that they wanted to do family images. I am SOOOOO glad that I forced convinced them to do it!

I spent the morning with the sweetest, most peaceful baby. Madelyn was so calm and serene – even when she was awake. I might have fallen in love with her just a little bit – probably right around the time that Mom let me feed Madelyn. There is just something so wonderful about feeding a baby – totally a bonding moment!
